Anand has been bitten by the running bug since late 2004. A little "distraction" to cycling caused him experience the ultimate Manali-Leh-Khardung La expedition in 2009.
Since then, he has turned his "sole" attention to the sport he loves and breathes. Occasionally you will find him doing the laps in the swimming pool; but at the core he is a typical runnerd with a special affection for physiology, running technique and shoes. You may,in fact, call him a shoe mafia.
If you have anything to discuss in these areas and catch up with him; you will have a hard time asking him to stop. You have been warned.
